Well, we made it to another Tuesday which means it’s time to highlight another trend that is hot in the design world. Today, we’re going to gawk at grass cloth walls. I absolutely love the texture that grass cloth gives. I would love a room with grass cloth walls….and it comes in so many colors…the possibilities are endless!
The beauty in design is in the details and I absolutely love how grass cloth looks…just gorgeous!

I think you walk a fine line with this trend and you have to be very mindful of the types of rugs you pair as well as the look of the room but I love all the rooms above. What do you think?
I am a huge turtle lover {as you can see here and here}. This is my dream side job. Despite that fact, I love the way lacquered turtle shells look on the wall in groups. I like to imagine that these were all happy, old turtles that lived a long, full life and passed naturally in their sleep at a ripe old age. Anyhoo…..what do you think? I love being surrounded by nature and these shells give very dramatic texture and color to a space.

Happy Trendy Tuesday y’all! Today we’re going to highlight Canopy Chairs. I have seen them all over the place in magazines lately.
I tend to be a more relaxed and traditional person so these don’t really fit my design aesthetic. To each his own. These chairs look very familiar to me….what do you think? Are they somewhat reminiscent of the tilt a whirl (or in my case, the whirl and hurl)?
Happy Tuesday Peeps! It’s Tuesday, which means we’re taking a look at another trend in decor. Today, we’re looking at mint green. Interior Design Trends usually fall in line with fashion trends….just a little behind them. Mint green has been all over the runways and now it’s making it’s way inside.
I have to admit, I wasn’t sure if I’d like it. The last time mint green was around it was mint green and dusty pink and mint green and peach. Been there, done that. Hello, the 80′s called and they want the ceramic mint shell lamp back please. Gag me with a spoon…like, no duh….o.k. enough with the 80′s humor.
Back to 2012.
As always is with trend revivals, they are more modern this time around and a little different from last time. Take a look.
