Lake House Plan

I recently ran across this plan and I absolutely love it!!  The layout is good and I ADORE the e-space!  What a great idea and it flows nicely to the outdoors.

Beach House Plan {The Seabrook from Southern Living House Plans}

Today’s house plan is a beach plan from Southern Living.  I love the way the exterior looks and it’s a good size for my family.

Beach House Plan

This Tuesday’s house plan post is a beach house that I love!  If you missed it last week, I am alternating lake house and beach house plans each Tuesday….because homes on the water are my favorite…and they make me happy!

I love this kitchen and the fact that there is island seating for six between two separate bars.  We don’t have enough bar seating in our house and the kitchen in this house would be fabulous!  I also love the huge pantry.

You can find this house plan here on monsterplans.com .  They specialize in beach houses.  I think this plan would be great with a full basement.  Do you like it?

Favorite House Plan – Tucker Bayou

As I’ve said before, I love looking at house plans in my spare time.  Designing a room from a blueprint or floorplan is one of my favorite things to do and on of my specialties.  Below is a house plan that I love.  When our house sells, we may be building a home so this one is in my back pocket.   My oldest son’s name is Tucker so this is meant to be.  :)

My secret {house plan} addiction

Confession time….I absolutely love to look at house plans.  I could pour over a Southern Living house plan magazine for months.  One of my favorite house plan sources is Coastal Living.com.  I love the casual, easy feel of the homes and as I’ve said so many times before, I long for that sort of lifestyle and we try to live that way as much as we can here.  That being said, I thought it would be fun to show you my favorite house plan as of late.  Behold The Port Royal house plan from Coastal Living……

I love the pool that is enveloped into the house and the longer that we live in our home in a subdivision, the more I miss this type of lifestyle.  Don’t get me wrong, we have a wonderful house and some wonderful neighbors (with the exception of this one) but I miss the peace and solitude of being away from everyone and walking outside and not seeing a soul.  One day we’ll move back out and this is the house I’d like to build.  It’s a bit smaller than our house now but I think it would live well (we’d need to add a 4th bedroom for my daughter) with our lifestyle and having a pool outside would be fantastic.

I can already see all the built-ins that I’d incorporate and did you notice the outdoor shower that is connected to the master bath….heaven!!  Just what I’ve always wanted.  This house just looks like it was designed for me with all the built ins already in place.

One of these days real soon, I’ll have to show you our old house out in the country.  We contracted it ourselves and did alot of the work ourselves too.  Then you’ll have a perspective from my country girl side.  ;)

Have a fantastic weekend and dream big!!
